      Hi Christine!

      The attached payment policies were approved by BEEPP on 11/30/21. Can you please have these posted to the website? Please see bullet breakout below.

      • Retire the Temporary COVID-19 Telemedicine/Telephone -Only, Temporary COVID-19 Telemedicine/Telephone-only Preventive Medicine Service, Temporary COVID-19 Triage Services Provided by Telephone, and the COVID-19 Vaccine Payment Policies for 1/1/22.
      • Archive existing Telemedicine Payment Policy and replace with updated version attached.
      • Archive existing Mammography Screening Payment Policy and replace with updated version attached.
      • Archive existing In Lieu Of Payment Policy and replace with updated version attached.
      • Archive existing Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Payment Policy and replace with updated version attached.
      • Add Chiropractic Services Payment Policy - This is a newly created policy for our Commercial LOB.
      • Archive existing Immunization and Vaccine Payment Policy and replace with updated version attached
      • Archive existing Children's Care Services Payment Policy and replace with updated version attached - this policy was updated to add temporary pediatric COVID vaccine counseling language.

      Of these policies, we will need Provider Communication on the following:

      • Telemedicine Payment Policy - Does not need 60 day notice. Merging over all temporary telemedine/COVID payment policies.
      • Immunization and Vaccine Payment Policy - Does not need 60 day notice. Need to call out that they can’t bill the state for INTEGRITY members for COVID – CMS guidance have to have it in effect for 1/1/22.
      • In Lieu Of, CAM, Chiro - Does not need 60 day notice. We are not restricting services. We updated these policies to include physiotherapy language/coding.

          Hi Sarah Tourgee and Brittany Goulart  I see that CHildren's Care Svcs was just updated.  I had already publish the new version as part of the other ticket (with Oral Care).  Is this a new version?

          Hi Christine Zanfini Parker this policy was updated to add temporary pediatric COVID vaccine counseling language. Modifier 25 language was just added today under that COVID counseling topic within the policy.

          Oh good!  I have been waiting to get pedi counseling "in writing" to our providers!

          Hi there.  For Mamm with regard to the dates...should the billing guideline be on the archive page as:

          • Effective 9/01/10 through 11/29/2021; Replaced with Mammography Screening Payment Policy

          and then on the active page, I would list Mamm Payment Policy eff 11/30/21?
